We booked it so we could put our feet up watching TV and read in our not very formal living room. It sounded so nice and looked so nice that we ordered the brown. We also thought it a bit longer than most coffee tables. (We had seen something similar in a national big box store and it was very expensive.) Delivery was fast, item well packed and intact. We had to add legs (easily done). The color is a bit darker than I had expected, but it looks good with an oriental type rug and a blue / brown / gold color scheme. The "leather" is soft and does not feel "plastic-y". This piece is sturdy, handsome and fit our needs perfectly. Understand this is not "good" furniture, but is very well done. It seems durable, feels good, looks good. We are very happy!
